Caran d'Ache XL 849™ PREMIUM Black Code Ballpoint Pen

Caran d'Ache XL 849™ PREMIUM Black Code – matt black aluminium retractable ballpoint pen

The Caran d'Ache XL 849™ PREMIUM Black Code ballpoint pen is a retractable pen with a hexagonal aluminium barrel for notes, signatures and everyday writing. The barrel, clip and push button are all finished in matt black, which gives it a calm, uniform look. The pen is Swiss Made.

The XL version is thicker than the standard 849. If you like a sturdier barrel in your hand, it is the right choice. The six edges of the barrel give your fingers extra grip.

Writing and refill

The pen is fitted with a black Caran d'Ache Goliath refill with an M line width. This gives a medium line suited to notes, signatures and longer writing sessions. When the refill runs out, you simply replace it: the pen is refillable and compatible with Goliath refills, so you do not need to replace the whole pen.

Clip and everyday use

The flexible clip attaches to a notebook, shirt pocket or document folder. Thanks to the push mechanism, you can write one-handed, without removing or putting down a cap.
