addiClick LACE Short – knitting needle set with fine interchangeable tips

The addiClick LACE knitting needle set is an interchangeable system for circular needles: you combine eight pairs of short lace tips from 3.5 to 8 mm with five red cables and put together the right needle for each project. The tips are particularly fine, and the set is "Made in Germany".

Because you can combine tips and cables as you like, you do not need individual circular needles in every size and length. The cables come in 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 cm. The length given applies to the finished needle made up of cable and tips.

Assembling the needle

Push the metal end of the red cable into the needle end, turn the tip and lock it in place. You do not need any other tool. Before knitting, check that the join is secure so that the yarn does not catch at the transition. The addiGrip grip aid helps you hold the parts securely. The connector joins two cables to make a longer one.

Choose the cable length according to the circumference of your knitting: for small circumferences such as sleeves or hats, use a short cable; for large pieces, use the longer cables of 80 or 100 cm.

What are the lace tips for?

The fine tips suit thinner yarns and delicate patterns, for example lace patterns, baby clothes, sleeves or socks. Thanks to the fine tips, stitches in lace patterns are also easy to pick up. The set works for knitting in the round and for straight knitting. The parts fit the addiClick system and can be combined with other addiClick parts.

Short or long tips?

This set contains the short lace tips. If you prefer longer tips, choose the set with long needles. Sizes from 3.5 to 8 mm cover fine to medium yarns. They are not sufficient for thicker yarns.
