Prym hollow rivets Ø 9 mm, 6–9 mm shank, silver colour, 12 pcs

Prym hollow rivets Ø 9 mm – silver colour, for leather and thicker materials

Prym hollow rivets (art. no. 403172) join thicker materials such as leather permanently and look neat on both sides. The pack contains 12 hollow rivets with a 9 mm head diameter and a shank for material thicknesses of 6–9 mm.

The rivets are made of rustproof, silver-coloured brass. You fit them with the Prym Vario Creative Tool (390903) and the matching tool set for hollow rivets (673128). Neither is included in the pack.

Which rivet size suits your material?

Prym hollow rivets differ in head diameter and shank length: the longer the shank, the thicker the material you can rivet. These rivets with a 6–9 mm shank are intended for thicker layers, such as several layers of leather. Before buying, measure the total thickness of the layers you want to join. If it is well under 6 mm, choose a shorter version from the range, for example with a 4–6 mm shank.

How to fit the rivets

Punch a hole in the material at the marked point, push the hollow rivet through and join the two rivet parts together using the tool. First test on an offcut to check that the shank is long enough and that the rivet sits firmly and straight.
