Graine Créative wooden house with windows, 80 x 150 x 30 mm

Wooden house with window cut-outs, natural, for painting and decorating

The Graine Créative wooden house is an untreated wooden blank with window cut-outs, which you can paint and decorate as you like. This version measures 80 × 150 × 30 mm and is supplied singly.

As the wood is untreated, you can decorate it freely: painted opaque, as a transparent glaze or with stuck-on motifs. You can leave the window cut-outs open, line them with tracing paper or frame them with paint.

Decorating the wooden house

Untreated wood often takes up paint unevenly. Lightly sand any rough areas and edges beforehand and remove the dust. If you want the colour to cover richly and evenly, prime the house first. It is best to paint the window cut-outs and edges with a thin brush while the surface is not yet fully painted. That way you can reach the inner edges and avoid paint runs. Let each coat dry before you apply the next or stick on decorations.

Which size to choose

The series comes in three sizes. At 80 × 150 × 30 mm, this house sits between the smaller model measuring 40 × 120 × 30 mm and the model measuring 110 × 100 × 30 mm. Several houses can be combined into a small group of different sizes.
