Wooden Tea Box with 4 Compartments, Untreated

Wooden Tea Box with 4 Compartments – for Sorting Tea Bags and Decorating Yourself

The wooden tea box with 4 compartments is a blank made of natural, untreated wood. You can store tea bags in it and decorate the box to your own taste beforehand.

With four compartments, you can separate your teas by flavour, effect or time of day. The box measures approx. 320 × 90 × 55 mm. You can paint, stain or engrave it and so match it to your kitchen. Once decorated, it also works as a gift box or for DIY projects.

Decorating the tea box

As the wood is untreated, you decide on the surface and colour yourself. Stain soaks in more or less strongly depending on the part of the wood, so it is worth testing it first on an inconspicuous spot.

• Smooth the surface with fine sandpaper along the grain and wipe off the dust
• Apply paint or stain thinly and leave to dry completely
• Ideally, finish any engravings or designs before putting the tea bags in
