Scandinavian Wooden Christmas Gnome to Paint and Decorate
The Scandinavian Christmas gnome from Creativ Company is a small wooden figure to paint and decorate. At 81 mm tall and 31 mm in diameter, it is compact enough for a windowsill, a table or an Advent arrangement.
As the gnome is supplied unpainted, you decide on the hat, beard and clothes yourself, whether classic red and white or in colours entirely of your own choosing. You can paint several gnomes as a group in coordinated shades.
Painting the gnome
On a small figure like this, fine brushes help with the face and details. Paint the large areas such as the hat and body first, let them dry completely and only then add the fine details, so that the colours do not run into each other. Test the paint beforehand on an inconspicuous spot to see how it looks on the wood.
