Talens Rotterdam No. 263 Tabletop Easel, Box Easel

Talens Rotterdam Tabletop Easel – Beech Wood with Metal Insert for Brushes and Paint Tubes

The Talens Rotterdam tabletop easel (No. 263) is a beech wood box easel that you set up on a table for painting. The metal insert holds brushes, paint tubes and other painting accessories, so everything is within reach beside your canvas. You can work on canvases and painting boards up to 67 cm high.

The easel weighs 3.6 kg. The box measures 31 × 41 × 7 cm; these dimensions refer to the box, not the assembled easel. Talens makes its wooden easels from treated beech wood.

Which formats does it take?

The maximum canvas height of 67 cm helps you plan: you can set up stretched canvases and painting boards up to this height. For larger formats you will need a floor easel, for example from the Talens studio or tripod range.

Setting up

A tabletop easel is only as stable as the table beneath it. Choose a level, sturdy table and position the easel so that the canvas and metal insert do not overhang the edge of the table. With the insert within reach, you do not have to put brushes and paint tubes down on the picture or on the table surface.
