The Efco wooden cube is made of beech wood and measures 50 × 50 × 50 mm, with rounded corners. You can use it as a blank for craft projects, game making, decorations or learning materials.

The rounded corners feel more comfortable in the hand than sharp edges. Beech wood has a fine, even grain and is easy to paint, cover with paper or stain.

Uses for the cube

With an edge length of 50 mm, the cube is large enough for bold designs and easy to hold. You can use it as a dice blank, building block, letter or number cube, decorative element or base for decoupage and collages.

Preparing the wood

Before painting with acrylic paint, lightly sand the surfaces and edges with fine sandpaper and wipe off the dust. This gives a more even coat of paint. Apply stain directly to the wood without a primer; acrylic paint covers in two coats, depending on the shade.

Which size to choose

The cube is also available in this series with edge lengths of 30, 40 and 60 mm. Choose 50 mm if you need an in-between size for games or decorations.
