Rayher paper wire ø 0.55 mm – paper-covered wire for binding and decorating

Rayher paper wire is an annealed wire wrapped in decorative paper. You can use it for wrapping, binding and fixing, for example for the wire hoops of dreamcatchers or for decorations. Choose your colour from the options.

The core bends very easily and then keeps its shape. The paper covering adds extra grip and a colour effect. At 20 m long, one spool is enough for several small projects. The wire comes on a wooden spool, from which it unwinds easily.

Working with paper wire

At ø 0.55 mm, the wire is fine enough for delicate work yet sturdy enough to hold rings or bundles. To cover a wire hoop, place the end of the wire against the hoop and wind it tightly and evenly so that the hoop is completely covered. Finally, twist the end in firmly. To bind, wind the wire several times around the spot and twist the ends together.
