The Revell Sanding Sticks (art. no. 39069) are a set of 5 sanding files for sanding and cleaning up parts in model making. Each file is coated on both sides: the front is 120 grit for coarse sanding, the back is 150 grit for cleaning up. With a single file you can move from the rough preparation to the finer finish without changing tools.

At 147 mm long, the files sit comfortably in the hand and also reach the edges and surfaces of larger parts. Five in the set are handy if you do not want to keep swapping grits or files.

Working with the two sides

Start with the coarse side (120 grit) when edges, burrs or transitions need to be taken down noticeably. Then switch to the back (150 grit) to smooth the surface and refine the scratches left by the coarse side. Sand with light pressure and even strokes so that you do not round off contours. Remove the sanding dust before you glue or paint.
