Meyco ink pad in a metal case – empty, for filling with your own stamp ink

The Meyco ink pad (art. no. 65455) is an empty, uninked pad in a metal case that you fill yourself. It measures 80 x 60 mm (8 x 6 cm) and offers enough surface for small to medium-sized stamps. As it contains no ink, you decide which stamp ink and which shade to use.

The metal case holds the pad together and protects it during storage.

Filling the pad

The right stamp ink depends on what you are stamping on, such as paper or fabric. Follow the information on the ink bottle. Add the ink to the pad in small amounts and let it soak in briefly before adding more. Too much ink is the most common mistake: the impressions then fill in and smudge.

• Apply the ink gradually and spread it evenly
• Press the stamp onto the pad with light pressure, or dab it, then press it onto the surface
• Close the case after stamping so the pad stays protected
