Glorex shea butter for soap flakes is an ingredient for kneaded soap: you work it into soap flakes so that the soap becomes soft and smooth, according to Glorex. Shea butter is obtained from the nut of the African shea tree and is widely used in cosmetic products. Choose the quantity from the options.

Working in the shea butter

First knead the soap flakes with warm water, soap oil, fragrance and colour into a pliable mass. The shea butter goes in last. As a guide, for 100 g of soap flakes use 30 ml of warm water, 12 ml of soap oil and about 7 g of shea butter. Break the butter into small pieces and knead it in thoroughly until evenly distributed, otherwise pockets of fat will remain in the soap.
