Cernit bow silicone mould – flexible motif mould for polymer clay

The Cernit bow silicone mould (art. no. CE95112) is a flexible silicone motif mould for shaping bows from polymer clay, for example for jewellery, table decorations or home decor. The extra flexible silicone reproduces details accurately, and you can release the finished piece easily from the mould.

With a diameter of 72 mm, the mould is large enough for clearly recognisable motifs, for instance as a pendant, an embellishment for accessories or a decorative element. The white mould is washable and can be used again and again.

Shaping a bow

Knead the clay thoroughly until it is soft and pliable, then press it firmly into the recess of the mould so that fine details are picked up too. Smooth off any excess clay so that the piece has a clean back. To release it, bend the flexible mould slightly and push the motif out from behind. Then harden the piece following the instructions for your modelling clay.

Uses

The bow is suitable for fashion accessories, jewellery, table decorations and home decor. After use, you can wash the mould and reuse it for your next project. Once a mould has been used with modelling clay, do not use it for food.
