Beadalon WildFire 0.15 mm – strong beading thread in beige

Beadalon WildFire in 0.15 mm is a synthetic, braided beading thread for jewellery and bead work. Its smooth coating makes it supple and easy to work with. According to Beadalon, it has a breaking strength of 4.5 kg (10 lb), is waterproof and colourfast, and hardly stretches. Your beadwork keeps its shape as a result. WildFire is often used with Miyuki beads.

The thread is thermally bonded, so it does not need to be pre-conditioned. The coating is so firm that you cannot pierce the thread with a needle. The colour is abrasion-resistant and does not rub off on your fingers. Choose your length from the options.

Uses for WildFire

The thread suits bead weaving, bead embroidery, loom work and bead knitting. Because it hardly gives, woven patterns and jewellery pieces keep their shape. The smooth surface slides easily through the holes when you pass through the beads several times.

Threading and choosing the thickness

To make threading easier, flatten the tip with flat-nose pliers. The finer 0.15 mm thread takes up less room in the bead hole when you pass through a bead several times. The WildFire range also includes a 0.20 mm thread with 5.5 kg breaking strength, which you can use for heavier loads.
