Lobster clasp with eyelet in antique iron – jewellery clasp for your own designs

The Pracht lobster clasp with eyelet is a jewellery clasp for your DIY jewellery projects, for example homemade necklaces or bracelets. It measures 14 mm and comes in antique iron (alteisen). The set contains 2 lobster clasps and 2 eyelets, so you can fit two clasps.

The same colour is also available in a smaller 10 mm version. The 14 mm clasp is larger, which makes it easier to grip and open. That is useful if you want to fasten the clasp on your own.

Fitting the clasp

Attach the lobster clasp to one end of your chain or band and the eyelet to the other end. When you close it, the clasp hooks into the eyelet. If the eyelets are open, use two pairs of pliers to twist them open and closed sideways. If you pull them apart outwards, the ring loses its shape and will not close properly later. Check that it sits securely before you wear the piece of jewellery.
