SUKI upholstery nails, 8 mm in diameter and 13 mm long, fix upholstery fabric or leather to furniture and add gold-coloured accents. The surface is brass-plated and has a golden look. The pack contains 55 nails.

Upholstery nails have a long tradition in furniture making. You can set them close together as a decorative border or with a little space between for a lighter look. They hold the covering in place along edges and frames and decorate it at the same time.

Setting the upholstery nails

Mark the row of nails beforehand with a pencil and ruler. This keeps the spacing even, especially along a decorative edge. Hammer the nails in until the head sits firmly on the fabric. A layer of fabric or a plastic tip between the hammer and the head protects the brass surface from dents. In hard wood, drill a pilot hole with a very thin drill bit so the nail does not bend. It is best to try out the arrangement on an offcut first.

Which size to choose

The nails are 13 mm long. This series is available in 8, 9 and 10 mm diameters. The 8 mm nails look more discreet and suit narrow edges and smaller pieces of furniture. The 55 nails in the pack are enough for a longer decorative row.
