3D Effect Film Little Stars – turns fairy lights into twinkling stars

The Rayher 3D effect film Little Stars turns the light from small light sources into little star effects. Unlit, the film looks plain. Lit from behind, for example with small LED fairy lights, it scatters the light into twinkling little stars.

The film is not self-adhesive and is made of PVC. You get one roll measuring 100 × 33 cm. It is suitable for jars, lamps, lanterns, picture frames and wooden frames.

Using the film

Wrap the film around a glass jar and fix it in place with tape or glue, as it is not self-adhesive. Battery-operated LED fairy lights fit inside a larger jar. You can also cover lanterns, lamps and frames with the film. It is important that the light shines through the film from behind, as this is the only way to get the star effect. Use LED light only and no naked flame such as a tealight, as the film is made of PVC.

Good to know

The film has lengthways and crossways stripes caused by the production process. According to Rayher, this is normal and not a defect. At 100 × 33 cm, the roll can be cut to size for several smaller jars or frames.
