Grey felt pricking mat 20 × 15 cm, 5 mm thick

Grey felt pricking mat – protects the table when pricking

Place the grey felt pricking mat under your paper when pricking, so the pricking needle does not go into the tabletop. The mat measures 20 × 15 cm and is 5 mm thick.

The felt takes the needle point and so protects the table from damage. The size suits smaller pricked pictures and cards.

Using the mat

Put the mat on a level table and the sheet with the design on top. Then prick along the lines through the paper with the pricking needle. The needle point goes into the felt instead of hitting the hard tabletop. For larger sheets, move the mat along as you work so that you are always pricking into felt.

Which thickness and size?

This mat measures 20 × 15 cm and is 5 mm thick. The same series also includes further felt pricking mats in other sizes with a thickness of 8 mm.
