da Vinci PRIMO flat children's brush – robust synthetic brush for small hands

The da Vinci PRIMO learner brush, series 354, is a flat synthetic brush developed specifically for children's hands. You can use it for learning to paint in nursery and school, and also for therapeutic work. Choose your colour from the options.

The brush head is robust and has a finely worked edge for clean strokes. The fibres do not shed. The ferrule is made of rustproof, seamless aluminium and therefore does not rust. The brush head does not wobble, even if the brush is not always handled properly. This is an advantage in everyday nursery and school use, as children's brushes often get heavy wear.

A handle that doesn't roll away

The wooden handle is short and finished with a water-based varnish. At its thickest point it has barely noticeable flat sides, so the brush does not roll off the painting table. The short handle sits well in small hands and can be held close to the brush head.

Flat or round?

The flat shape lets you fill areas quickly and make straight strokes with the edge. If you turn the brush onto its narrow side, you get thinner lines. For dots and soft, rounded strokes, the round version (series 353) is better suited. After painting, rinse the brush out with water and do not leave it standing in the water jar, so that the fibres do not bend.
