The FORTE BASIC series 393 from da Vinci is a synthetic round brush for hobby, school and model making. You can use it with acrylic and fabric paints, and according to da Vinci it suits almost all hobby paints. The fibres are strong and springy, held in a seamless aluminium ferrule. According to the manufacturer, this makes the brush extremely hard-wearing, even on rough surfaces.

The short wooden handle is matt blue with a grippy surface texture. The wood comes from controlled European forestry. The brush is vegan.
