Glorex Granulex coarse – filling granules for dolls, teddies and cushions

Glorex Granulex coarse is a plastic filling granule with a grain size of approx. 4 mm. You can use it to fill dolls, teddies, soft toys and cushions when they need some weight. The pack contains 1 kg of white granules.

Instead of toy stuffing, the granules give dolls and teddies weight and shape. You can also use them in addition to polyester fibrefill, for example to weight soft toys and doll figures. The granules are washable.

Filling with granules

First sew a tightly stitched inner bag from a dense fabric and fill it using a funnel or cup. Close it carefully and place it inside the figure. This keeps the filling in place, and the granules cannot trickle out through the seams. Do not fill the bag completely, so that it can adapt to the shape.

Granules or fibrefill?

Granules are heavier than toy stuffing. They are therefore suitable for the body, feet or bottom of dolls and teddies that are meant to sit or stand. It is better to fill the head, arms and legs with fibrefill so that the figure stays soft. Both fillings can be combined in a single piece.
