Cushion Pad 40 × 40 cm – Insert for Handmade Covers

This 40 × 40 cm cushion pad is a ready-made insert for your DIY projects, for example for sewn, crocheted or embroidered cushion covers. The filling is 100 % polyester and the cover is fleece (approx. 40 g/m²).

The cushion pad is supplied vacuum-packed individually. This saves space in storage until your cover is finished.

Getting the cushion plump

Take the cushion pad out of its vacuum packaging before you insert it. Then shake it vigorously and leave it for a while so that the filling spreads evenly. The 40 × 40 cm size determines the size of your cover: if you sew it to exactly this finished size, the cushion will sit rather loosely. If you want it to look plumper, make the cover slightly smaller. The fleece cover holds the filling together, but the outer cover is what people see, so you are free to make it from fabric, knitting or crochet.
