Meyco ABC letter stencil – italic script for stippling, 25 mm high

The Meyco ABC letter stencil (art. no. 66052) is a plastic stencil for painting projects. It lets you apply italic letters, 25 mm high, to fabric, wood, paper and other surfaces. At 21 × 31 cm, the format is handy enough for arranging lettering one letter at a time, for example for names, labels or textiles.

The stencil is slightly transparent, so you can see where it sits on the surface. It can be washed after use and used many times. As the plastic is flexible, you can also lay it on slightly curved surfaces.

Working with the stencil

Secure the stencil with masking tape so that it does not slip. Load the stencil brush with only a little paint, wipe it almost dry on paper and dab the paint vertically into the openings rather than brushing. This way less paint runs under the edge. After stippling, lift the stencil off carefully and let the paint dry before you start the next letter. Wash the stencil afterwards while the paint is still wet so that no residue dries on.
