The black mini cord stoppers from Rico Design are small fasteners for handmade bracelets and friendship bracelets. You slide both cord ends through the stopper and a spring holds them in place. That means no knot and no clasp to hook in. The pack contains 6 pieces, enough for several bracelets.

The stoppers are made of plastic and measure 14 × 9 mm. This keeps them small and discreet on the wrist. The cord must have a diameter of no more than 3.0 mm.

Using the cord stoppers

Measure the diameter of your cord before buying: up to 3.0 mm it fits through the fastener, while thicker bands cannot be pulled through. Thread both ends of the finished bracelet through the stopper from opposite sides and slide it along until the bracelet sits loosely on your wrist. Only trim the protruding ends once the fit is right.

Choosing from the range

The mini cord stoppers are also available in the series in neon colours and in silver and gold colours. So you can choose whether the fastener blends in with the bracelet or stands out deliberately. Black is barely noticeable with dark cords.
