Prym Finger Guards – Finger Protection for Knitting

Prym finger guards (art. no. 431700) stop your fingers coming into direct contact with the knitting needle as you knit. The two finger guards are made of flexible plastic and, according to Prym, adapt comfortably to any finger. They help against pressure marks and irritation when you work on a project for a long time.

You can also wear them for crochet and other needlework. The finger guards are supplied on a card in assorted colours.

Using the finger guards

Slip each finger guard onto a finger that has a lot of contact with the needle or presses against it while you knit. As the finger guards are flexible, they stay in place without elastic or adhesive strips. They are particularly useful for long knitting sessions, when the needle would otherwise press into your skin. With 2 in the pack, you can protect two fingers at the same time.
