Clover Desk Needle Threader – threading needles at the press of a lever

The Clover desk needle threader (art. no. 4071, purple) threads sewing and quilting needles at the press of a lever. You place it on a table or work surface, which leaves both hands free for the needle and thread. A thread cutter is built in, so you do not need scissors.

The threader suits needles with a thickness of 0.51–0.89 mm and, according to Clover, works best with needles with an oval eye. It is not intended for needles with a round eye or for embroidery needles.

How to thread a needle

Threading takes just a few steps:

• Lay the thread in place and hold it lightly
• Insert the needle with the eye facing down
• Press the lever gently once
• Pull the needle out
• Cut the thread with the built-in cutter

Which needles does it suit?

Before buying, check which needles you use most often: standard sewing and quilting needles with an oval eye fall within the suitable range. For embroidery with embroidery needles or for needles with a round eye, you will need a different threading aid.
