Décopatch Dachshund Kit – Cardboard Dog Figure to Cover

Décopatch Dachshund Kit – Cardboard Figure with Paper, Glue and Brush

The Décopatch Dachshund kit (KIT026C) is a craft kit for covering a dachshund-shaped cardboard figure with colourful Décopatch papers. The set contains everything you need to get started: the figure, 2 paper sheets of 30 × 40 cm each, glue and a brush.

As the papers, glue and brush are included, you do not need to buy any other materials. According to Exaclair, the glue washes easily off your hands.

Covering the dachshund

Tear the paper sheets into handy pieces. Torn edges blend in more softly than cut ones and leave fewer visible joins. Brush glue onto one part of the figure, lay a piece of paper on top and smooth it from the centre outwards. Then brush a thin coat of glue over it. Continue piece by piece until the whole figure is covered, then leave it to dry.

Patterns and colour choice

With 2 sheets you can give the dachshund a single look or combine both papers, for example for the body and ears. If you overlap the pieces of paper, you get a patchwork effect.
