Hardicraft Bear Rattle Crochet Kit – Amigurumi Baby Rattle with All Materials

With the Hardicraft Bear Rattle crochet kit, you crochet a small amigurumi rattle in the shape of a bear. It was designed by Christel Krukkert. The finished bear measures approx. 12 cm. The pattern in German and all the materials are included; you only need to add a 2.5 mm crochet hook.

The kit contains two colours of cotton yarn (25 g brown, 10 g pink), a wooden ring made of untreated beech, a rattle insert, toy stuffing and black yarn for the eyes and nose. There is nothing to hunt down, so you can start crocheting straight away.

Crocheting the bear

Amigurumi is usually crocheted quite tightly so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches. The 2.5 mm crochet hook named by the manufacturer suits the yarn supplied. The pattern is included in German and takes you through the project. Use the black yarn for the eyes and nose, so there is nothing extra to buy.

Before giving it as a gift

Check the finished rattle to make sure all parts are firmly attached and that the seams and embroidered details do not come undone. If anything is loose, sew it down again before the rattle is used.
