Goerg & Schneider 241 – Grog-Free Stoneware Clay for Wheel Throwing

Goerg & Schneider 241 is a highly plastic stoneware clay designed especially for wheel throwing. It contains no grog, making it a good choice when you want a fine, even surface. The clay can also be used for pressing and stamping.

After firing, the clay body is white to light cream. Its pale colour provides a versatile base for transparent, coloured and opaque glazes. The recommended firing range is 1000 to 1280 °C.
