The Hahnemühle Watercolour Book Deckle Edge is a bound watercolour book with 30 sheets of cotton paper, where you can paint, sketch and collect studies. The paper is 100% cotton, weighs 250 gsm and has a fine-grained surface in natural white. Three sides of each sheet are hand-torn, which gives the book its characteristic irregular deckle edge.

All 30 sheets are surface-sized on both sides, with an even cold-pressed texture. You can therefore paint on all 60 pages. Choose the format from the options.

Paper and use

Cotton paper absorbs water and pigment evenly and copes with several layers. The book suits watercolour and other wet techniques such as gouache or ink. The surface sizing keeps the paint on the surface, so glazes and gradients stay bright. Because both sides can be painted on, you can use each sheet twice.

At home and on the move

The moisture-repellent cover and sturdy binding make the book a good companion for travel and plein air sketches. The black elastic band keeps it closed.
