The Pelikan griffix learn-to-write fountain pen is the 4th and last stage of the four-stage griffix system. It is designed for right-handers and takes children from learning to write with a pencil to writing with ink. The pincer grip helps position the fingers correctly, and the printed smiley face shows that the pen is being held properly.

The pressure-stable stainless steel nib has nib size A (beginner nib). Pelikan developed the fountain pen with teachers and scientists and makes it in Germany. An ink cartridge is included, so you can start writing straight away.

Who is stage 4 for?

As the grip-recess concept is the same in every stage, you do not have to change your grip when moving between learning stages. The fountain pen is designed for the right hand. Choose your colour from the options. This item has nib A, the beginner nib. A look through the large ink window shows you and the child when the cartridge is nearly empty. With the name field, the pen is quickly identified in the classroom.

Changing the cartridge

When the ink is running low, unscrew the grip section, take out the empty cartridge and push a new one firmly into place. The screw cap closes the pen between writing sessions.
