POSCA MOP'R PCM-22 – water-based paint marker with XXL round tip

The POSCA MOP'R PCM-22 is a water-based paint marker with a large round foam tip for filling areas, drawing lines and stamping effects. The tip measures 3 to 19 mm: depending on the angle, you draw fine or broad lines. This lets you fill larger areas faster than with an ordinary marker. Choose your colour from the options.

According to the manufacturer, the water-based paint can be overlaid, layered and used like watercolour. It is opaque, matt, odourless and quick-drying. It does not bleed through paper. The soft, ergonomic body sits comfortably in the hand. According to the manufacturer, the pigments have high lightfastness, and the marker is intended for indoor and outdoor use.

Working with the MOP'R

You control the amount of paint by the pressure on the tip, and the paint flow runs through a patented valve. With the tip you can draw lines, stamp, create dripping effects and make splash effects. For narrow lines, hold the tip at an angle; for broad areas, place it flat. Because the paint can be overlaid and layered, you can paint over areas with other colours once they have dried. The tip can be washed out if you want to change colour or clean the tip.

Surfaces and durability

On porous surfaces such as paper, cardboard or wood, the paint is permanent. It can be wiped off smooth surfaces such as glass, ceramic, porcelain and plastic. This is handy for window pictures or lettering that you want to remove later. On very rough surfaces, the soft foam tip wears down faster. So test the paint on an inconspicuous spot first.
