Pilot FriXion Point Extra Fine 0.5 mm – erasable gel pen

Pilot FriXion Point 0.5 mm – write, rub, correct

The Pilot FriXion Point Extra Fine 0.5 mm is an erasable pen with thermo-sensitive gel ink that lets you write and rub out mistakes straight away. The eraser tip at the end of the pen creates friction heat, the ink disappears, and you can write over the spot immediately. The Hi-Tecpoint tip, with a tip size of 0.5 mm, draws a line width of 0.25 mm, suitable for fine notes, scheduling and plans.

The pen has an ergonomic grip and a cap, and is refillable. Choose your colour from the options.

How to correct

You write as you would with an ordinary pen. To correct, rub the eraser tip at the end of the pen briskly and with even pressure over the spot. The friction heat makes the ink disappear, and you can write again straight away. Try erasing on a corner of your paper first to find the right pressure.

What the pen suits – and what it does not

According to the manufacturer, the FriXion Point is suitable for notes in printed documents, scheduling, office notes and drawing plans, as well as for school. Because the writing can be erased by heat, use a different pen for text that must stay legible permanently. Do not leave written pages in warm places such as on a radiator.
