POSCA PC-17K Paint Marker – broad chisel tip for large areas

The POSCA PC-17K paint marker has an extra-broad chisel tip for solid areas of colour, coloured base coats, backgrounds and large lettering. The tip is 15 mm wide with bevelled edges, so you can control the edges of your lines well. Choose your colour from the options.

The paint is water-based, opaque and matt, and dries quickly. It does not bleed through paper. According to POSCA, it can be blended and painted over, used indoors and outdoors, and has stable pigments with strong UV resistance. The tip can be removed, washed and replaced, so you do not have to throw the marker away if the tip gets dirty.

Which surfaces suit it?

On smooth surfaces such as glass, ceramic, porcelain and plastic, the paint can be wiped off again. On porous materials such as wood, cardboard or canvas, it adheres permanently. This makes the marker suitable for signs, decorations, shop window displays and DIY projects. On glass and plastic, test the paint on an inconspicuous area first.

Getting started

Before first use, shake the marker with the cap closed and press the tip down on a surface until the paint reaches the tip. For narrow lines, use the narrow side of the tip; for broad areas, use the full 15 mm width. Let the first layer of paint dry before painting over it, otherwise it will smear. Replace the cap straight after painting so the tip does not dry out.
