The Faber-Castell Poly Ball Urban Sunset ballpoint pen (art. no. 241108) has a triangular grip zone and is made for everyday use at school, university and in the office. It is one of the two new summer colours in the Poly Ball Urban range, which Faber-Castell offers with a colour gradient. The surface is non-slip (soft touch) and the grip zone is an ergonomic triangle shape. This keeps the pen comfortable in the hand, even when writing for longer.

According to the manufacturer, the plastic parts are made of 64% recycled plastic. The refill writes in blue and is document-proof, so you can also use the pen for forms and signatures.

What the XB refill means

XB stands for an extra-broad refill. It releases more ink and gives a smooth writing feel, and the line looks bolder than with a fine or medium refill. If you write very small or tightly, a narrower refill is more practical. The XB refill suits notes, school exercise books and longer texts well.

Changing the refill

When the refill is empty, you do not have to replace the whole pen: you can swap it for a standard large-capacity refill. This saves material and fits with the recycled content of the barrel.
