DEKA LACK High-Gloss Acrylic Paint 250 ml – glossy paint for many surfaces
DEKA LACK high-gloss paint is a water-based acrylic paint for glossy, opaque finishes when painting, printing and stencilling. You can use it on paper, wood, ceramic, glass, leather, stone, metal and polystyrene. The paint is fully opaque, lightfast, flexible and gloss-stable. Once dry, it is waterproof.
The 250 ml container gives you a larger quantity for big areas, batches of identical pieces or several projects. The paint can be thinned with water (maximum 5%) and baked at up to 170 °C if the finished piece needs to be especially hard-wearing.
Working with the high-gloss paint
The surface should be clean, dry and free from grease, especially on glass, metal and smooth ceramic. Stir the paint well before use. It is better to apply two thin coats than one thick one, letting each coat dry. This avoids runs and brush marks. For stencilling or printing, pick up only a little paint and dab off any excess first so that nothing seeps under the stencil. Thin the paint only slightly with water, to a maximum of 5%. The shades in the range can be mixed with one another. Clean brushes and sponges with water while the paint is still wet.
Which size to choose
The 250 ml size is worthwhile for large areas, lots of identical items or if you use a colour often. For small details, test pieces or individual decorative items, the range is also available in 25 ml and 50 ml.
