Prym brass pins 14 x 0.60 mm – rustproof, for fine fabrics and curtains

Prym brass pins (art. no. 011201) are silver-coloured pins for pinning fine fabrics, for example blouses, shirts and curtains. They are made entirely of rustproof brass. According to Prym, they can therefore also stay in the fabric for longer, for instance in curtains.

The fine point slides easily through the fabric without damaging the fibres. The even, burr-free metal heads give you a firm surface to push on. The 500 g bulk pack is intended for anyone who does a lot of pinning.

Pinning fine fabrics

At 14 mm long and 0.60 mm in diameter, the pins are short and fine. That suits lightweight fabrics that you do not want to damage with thick pins. For coarse or thick fabrics you need a longer, stronger pin.

• Insert the pins at right angles to the seam line so that the layers of fabric hold securely.
• Let the heads point towards the seam edge, so you can pull the pins out easily as you sew.
• Remove the pins before they reach the sewing machine needle rather than sewing over them.
