Prym brass safety pins – 30 pieces in three sizes

The Prym brass safety pins (art. no. 071165) are gold-coloured pins for holding and fastening in sewing, quilting and patchwork, as well as around the house. The card contains 30 pins assorted in 19 mm, 23 mm and 27 mm (nos. 3/0, 2/0 and 1).

The pins are made of rustproof brass, and the surface is polished smooth and free of burrs. The slim points slip easily into the fabric. The brass has a well-balanced spring tension, so the fastening stays firm even when opened and closed often.

Which size for what?

The three lengths cover different jobs: use the shorter pins for fine, thin fabrics and the longer ones for several layers of fabric or thicker materials. That way you will usually have the right length to hand for fixing and small repairs.

For quilting and sewing

When quilting, you can use the pins to hold the top fabric, wadding and backing together. Place them at even intervals and close each one so that the layers do not shift as you work. Because the brass is rustproof, you can also leave the pins in the fabric for longer.
