The Folia Mobile Kit “Tierwelt” (art. no. 22869) is a 14-piece craft kit for sewing your own mobile from felt animals. The kit contains all the materials: a wooden mobile star, 8 felt sheets, 3 embroidery threads, nylon thread and toy stuffing. Instructions and a pattern sheet are included.

You draw the patterns onto the felt, cut out the pieces, sew them together with the embroidery thread and stuff them. Basic sewing skills are enough, as only a few seams are needed.

Making the mobile

Transfer the patterns from the sheet onto the felt sheets and cut out the pieces carefully. Sew two felt pieces together at a time with the embroidery thread, leaving a small opening. Push the stuffing in through this opening, into narrow areas too. Then sew the opening closed. Finally, attach the finished figures to the wooden star with the nylon thread.

Hanging tips

Choose different thread lengths so the figures hang at different heights and do not touch each other when they turn. Only hang the mobile once all the knots are firmly secured.
