Prym sew-on press studs 7 mm – small and discreet for fine fabrics

Prym sew-on press studs in 7 mm are small fasteners made of rustproof brass, used on blouses, lightweight clothing, doll's clothes and small accessories. Each press stud consists of a socket part and a ball part. The lower part is rolled to protect the fabric. The four holes in the stud let you sew it on evenly. The silver-coloured finish is barely noticeable on fabric. The pack contains 12 pieces.

The 7 mm diameter suits fastenings that should stay unobtrusive. Prym also offers the sew-on press studs in other sizes and in black. For larger studs or a firmer hold on thicker fabrics, choose a larger diameter.

How to sew on the press studs

Mark the position of both parts so that the socket and ball parts line up exactly when closed. First sew one part firmly in place with sewing thread through the holes, then the matching part. Pass the thread through each hole several times and do not pull it too tight, so that fine fabric does not pucker. Finally, knot the thread neatly on the back.
