Prym eyelets with washers, burnished – no-sew fixing with tool included

Prym eyelets with washers, Ø 8 mm, burnished finish, neaten and reinforce holes in fabric without any sewing. You can use them for lacing, clothing, home décor, craft projects or simply as a decorative detail. The pack contains 24 eyelets with washers and a tool for fitting them. The eyelets are made of rustproof brass, and the burnished finish looks dark and understated.

The eyelets are fitted with the tool supplied and a hammer. If you are fitting a lot of eyelets, the Prym Vario pliers make the job easier.

Fitting the eyelets

Mark the position and cut or punch a hole in the fabric. Push the eyelet through from the right side, place the washer on the back and position the tool. Join eyelet and washer with even hammer blows on a firm surface. The eyelet should sit so firmly that it can no longer be turned. Only then will it not come loose when the fabric is pulled taut, for example with lacing. Try it first on a scrap of fabric to check that the hole and the force of the blows are right.
