Prym Waistband Hook and Bar Fasteners 25 mm – Flat Fastener for Waistbands and Belts

The Prym skirt waistband fasteners (art. no. 267261) in silver secure skirt waistbands and are also suitable for trousers, dress belts, wedding dresses and suits. The pack contains 2 pieces, each 25 mm in size.

The fastener is flat, so it adds hardly any bulk and stays discreet under fabric and lining. It is made of rust-proof steel, and the edges and surface are smooth and rounded. This means the fabric is not damaged when fastening and unfastening.

Sewing on the fastener

The hook and bar have sewing holes so that you can sew them on firmly by hand. First pin both parts in place and fasten the waistband as a test. Only when the hook and bar sit exactly opposite each other and the waistband lies smooth should you sew them on with strong thread through all the holes. If you use only some of the holes, the fastener may twist or come loose under strain.

Choosing the size

This fastener is 25 mm. In the Prym range it is also available in 20 mm and in other widths, as well as in black. Choose the size to suit the width of your waistband.
