Prym eyelets with washers 14 mm – for lacing, home decor and crafts

Prym eyelets with washers (art. no. 542560) with a 14 mm inside diameter are set into fabric and other flat materials so that cords, ribbons or laces run through neatly. The pack contains 15 pieces. They are suitable for lace-up fastenings on clothing, home decor, as decorative details and for craft projects. The eyelets are made of rustproof brass, so they do not rust and leave no marks on the fabric. Choose your colour from the options.

The eyelets with washers are fitted with the Prym Vario Creative Tool. The tool is not included.

Fitting the eyelets

A firm fit matters: once fitted, the eyelet should no longer turn. That way it will not pull out when the fabric is tightened during lacing. On thin or loosely woven fabrics, extra reinforcement such as interfacing helps the eyelet to hold better.

Which size to choose

This pack has a 14 mm inside diameter and suits thicker cords and ribbons. The range also includes eyelets in 11 mm, 8 mm and 4 mm. According to Prym, the tool set 673127 fits sizes 11 and 14 mm.
