Prym Eyelets with Washers Ø 4 mm – reinforce and decorate holes without sewing

Prym eyelets with washers are no-sew eyelets made of rustproof brass. You can use them for lacing, clothing, home decor and craft projects, or simply as a decorative feature. With a diameter of 4 mm and 100 in the pack, they suit fine lacing as well as larger projects that need plenty of eyelets. As the brass is rustproof, there are no rust marks on the fabric.

How to set the eyelets

Mark the position, punch or pierce a hole to fit the eyelet and push the eyelet through the fabric from the front. Place the washer on the eyelet barrel on the back and press the two together with the eyelet tool. Prym recommends fixing the eyelet so firmly that it no longer turns. Only then will it stay in place when the fabric is pulled taut during lacing. With thin or stretchy fabrics, interfacing behind the eyelet helps to reinforce it. Try it out first on a scrap of fabric.
