Prym Love jersey press studs – no-sew fasteners for thin, stretchy fabrics

The no-sew jersey press studs from the Prym Love series are designed for thin, stretchy fabrics, for example on baby and children's clothing. They have a diameter of 8 mm and come in this pack in an assortment of blue, white and light blue. You attach them without needle and thread, and there is no need to pre-punch the fabric.

The pack contains 21 brass studs. The matching tool for fitting them is included, and you will find brief instructions on the back of the pack.

Fitting the press studs

Mark the position of the studs on the fabric, then use the tool supplied and follow the brief instructions on the back of the pack. As the studs do not need to be pre-punched on thin jersey fabrics, they are quick to fit. Try fitting one on a fabric offcut first, so you can see whether the stud holds securely before you work on your garment.

What they are suitable for

According to the manufacturer, the studs are recommended for thin, stretchy fabrics such as jersey. They therefore work well on baby and children's clothing, for example on bodysuits or T-shirts. Choose the blue, white and light blue combination if you want the studs to match your fabric.
