Prym tool set for hollow rivets – accessory for the Vario Creative Tool

The Prym tool set for hollow rivets (art. no. 673128) is an accessory for the Prym Vario Creative Tool (390 903). It lets you set hollow rivets of Ø 7.5 and 9 mm in leather, denim and other thicker fabrics, including materials of different thicknesses. The set contains 4 setting tools and detailed step-by-step instructions.

The tools are colour-coded and engraved, so you can quickly match each one to the right rivet size and avoid mix-ups while you work. The set cannot be used without the Vario Creative Tool (390 903).

Which hollow rivets suit the set?

Prym sells the matching hollow rivets separately. Which ones you choose depends on the thickness of your material. The tools in the set cover both diameters, so you need no further tool for Ø 7.5 mm and Ø 9 mm.

How to use

First measure the material thickness at the point where the rivet will go, then choose the matching rivet. The engraving and colour coding show you which tools belong to your rivet size. You will find the individual steps in the enclosed instructions. Try setting a rivet on an offcut of the same material first, so you can see whether the rivet length you have chosen closes cleanly.
