Prym jersey press studs with pearl cap – no-sew for stretch fabrics

The Prym no-sew press stud "Jersey" (art. no. 390117) is a press stud with a mother-of-pearl cap that you fit into thin, stretchy fabrics such as jersey, stretch or lightweight cotton without sewing. The integrated prong ring pushes the fabric aside, so no hole needs to be punched. This is gentle on fine, elastic fabrics. The pack contains 6 pieces, each 12 mm in diameter.

The press stud is silver-coloured, and the mother-of-pearl cap sits visibly on the outside. The fastener therefore doubles as a discreet decoration on blouses, T-shirts or jackets. The press studs are washable and resistant to ironing and dry cleaning.

Fitting the press studs

Mark the position on the fabric and place the parts on both sides. Press them firmly together with the Prym VARIO pliers or the Prym tripod so that the prong ring pushes the fabric aside. No pre-punching is needed. Try fitting one on a fabric offcut first to check that the press stud holds securely on your fabric.
