Prym sew-on press studs 30 mm – large fasteners for jackets, coats and bags

Prym sew-on press studs in 30 mm are extra-large snap fasteners for sewing on, for example to jacket fabrics, coats or bags. They are made of rustproof brass and have a silver-coloured finish. Each press stud consists of a socket part and a ball part. The large diameter suits firm, heavy fabrics and adds a visible but understated detail.

The underside is rolled at the edge to protect the fabric from damage. Four holes help you sew the stud on evenly and securely. The press studs are washable up to 60 °C. The pack contains 2 pieces.

Sewing on the press studs

Mark the position on both layers of fabric so that the socket and ball parts sit exactly on top of each other when closed. Then sew each part firmly in place with strong thread through all four holes. Pass the stitches through each hole several times and fasten off the thread well, because large press studs put considerable strain on the stitching when opened and closed. With very thick fabrics, a thimble helps you push the needle through.
