Attaching the fasteners

Position the hook on one edge and the eye opposite it so that the two catch securely when closed. Sew them on through the side loops with strong thread, onto the backing fabric or lining and not just the fur pile, so that the strain does not pull on the hairs. Even, closely spaced stitches hold the fastener best.
