Rayher MDF photo frame, rectangular, 17 x 13 x 1.5 cm

Rayher rectangular MDF photo frame – free-standing, to decorate

The Rayher MDF photo frame (art. no. 62586000) is a rectangular free-standing frame that you can paint or cover to your own taste. It measures 17 × 13 × 1.5 cm and has an opening of 11.5 × 7.5 cm. Choose a photo that fits this opening.

MDF stands for medium-density fibreboard: a tightly pressed wood material made from very fine wood fibres. According to Rayher, Chalky Finish, all-purpose paint and Deco-Maché paper work well on MDF. You can, for example, decorate the frame to suit a gift, a room or an occasion.

Decorating the frame

For light colours and for decoupage, first apply a white primer: according to Rayher, colours look brighter on top of it. You then paint the frame with Chalky Finish or all-purpose paint, or cover it with Deco-Maché paper. Let each layer dry thoroughly before you continue.
